The biggest challenge facing mankind is sustainability. The camp makes use of solar water heating and power generation. By using solar panels we can capture the ultimate source of renewable energy, the sun.

"If you want a true Serengeti safari experience, look no further. Located in the wonderful Lobo hills that provide an escape from the hustle of the central area and lusher setting than the plains. The camp has all the amenities you need but still gives an adventurous camp experience with all the sights and sounds of being in the heart of wilderness with no one and nothing around. Your dreams will have a soundtrack of hyenas and lions and birds etc. The hospitality is amazing and you always feel very welcomed there. Tented camps offer a very special experience. Staying in a safari camp brings you much closer to the sights and sounds of nature, while at the same time being completely sheltered. These memories will last you a lifetime. At night, you will sleep like a baby, and if you don’t, you can listen to the orchestra of the wilderness. Can you hear the lions or the hyenas?

Access to the Great Migration

When it comes to wildlife spotting nothing compares to a sighting of Tanzania's Great Migration. Kimbilio Serengeti Camp is located in northeastern Serengeti, also known as Lobo. This beautiful location makes it possible to visit various part of the Serengeti, including the famous Mara river where the yearly river crossing takes place.

The camp is situated in a magnificent location with incredible vistas and ambience. Mornings are filled with sounds of incredible wildlife wakeup calls, the chirping of birds as the new day begins. An evening sundowner by the fire, accompanied by the sights and sounds of nature is an unforgettable way to end your day.

All ages are welcome, we love kids! The family tent can be set up for families with up to 4 children.

"During our trip through Tanzania we stayed at Kimbilio tented camp for 3 nights. It was the most special place to stay. Kimbilio is located in the middle of Serengeti in a beautiful area. It is small-scale, which makes it very attractive and there was a pleasant contact with the staff. They are ready to help you with everything and make your stay perfect. The food was delicious. The tents are neat and clean and equipped with everything you need. The wild animals come close to the camp and at night you can hear them. But we never felt unsafe for a moment. It was a special experience. I can recommend a stay at Kimbilio to anyone who really wants to experience Serengeti and Tanzanian hospitality."
