Selma Kamm
Read more about this author...
Selma lives in Tanzania, where daily life is shaped by the rhythm of the bush. Together with her husband, a zoologist and co-founder of Kimbilio Camps, she built two small tented camps in the northern Serengeti, far from the crowds and deeply connected to the land.
Her approach to safari is simple: fewer places, more time, and experiences that feel real. No rush, no checklists, just space to observe, understand and truly be present in nature.
With a strong focus on conservation and a leave-no-trace philosophy, Selma believes that how you travel matters. Every stay at Kimbilio is designed to be low impact, personal and rooted in respect for the environment.
Through her writing, she shares not just what you can see in the Serengeti, but how it feels to be there.
